Digital mental health app reduces symptoms of mania in bipolar patients, study says

Artificial intelligence chronic care platform Juli released results from a study that showed 55 percent of users of its app with bipolar disorder saw a decrease in symptoms of mania.

The Juli app uses artificial intelligence to provide care suggestions to people with chronic conditions. Along with the 55 percent of users who experienced a reduction in mania, 19 percent of users reported a decrease in symptoms of depression, according to a Sept. 7 Juli news release.

The study covered a six-month period of 208 Juli users diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
