The proposed 60-bed hospital is being built in response to regional demand to supplement Trident’s 17-bed inpatient facility. The new hospital is expected to open in 2021.

“Recent national and local news stories have reminded us of the behavioral health needs of individuals and families,” said Trident Medical Center CEO Todd Gallati. “We’re looking forward to expanding the excellent care our physicians and staff provide every day to those in need.”
