The health system will reevaluate and reprioritize all capital projects.  All construction projects that have not broken ground will be put on hold, according to the report.

Halted projects include a planned $1.7 billion California Pacific Medical Center campus in Cathedral Hill, Calif., a $350 million Alta Bates Summit inpatient tower in Oakland, Calif., and a $300 million rebuild of the Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley, Calif.

Design and planning for the projects will continue, but no actual construction will occur until the economy improves, according to the report.
