Murfreesboro community members oppose TrustPoint Hospital expansion

Community members expressed their concerns regarding the proposed expansion of Murfreesboro, Tenn.-based TrustPoint Hospital during a city council public hearing Thursday, according to WGN.

TrustPoint is planning a $57 million expansion that would add 150 new beds and create nearly 400 new jobs.

Community members voiced concerns regarding drainage, forestry loss, traffic congestion and possible damage from construction blasts, among others issues.
