HCA opens $11M freestanding Florida ER

Panama City, Fla.-based HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital opened a new freestanding emergency room in Panama City Beach, the Panama City News Herald reported March 13.

The 11,000-square-foot facility cost $11 million to build. It is expected to serve more than 10,000 patients per year.

The 11-room facility is staffed by 30 full-time employees.
