Hammes completes $2B worth of hospital building projects in 2016

Healthcare building strategies company Hammes Co., based in Brookfield, Wis., completed projects totaling more than 4.3 million square feet and valued at more than $2 billion in 2016.

Those figures represent a 35 percent increase in square footage and 41 percent increase in dollar value from 2015.

One of the company’s notable projects last year includes Centegra Hospital-Huntley (Ill.), a $230 million, 128-bed new hospital on Crystal Lake, Ill.-based Centegra Health’s existing hospital campus in Huntley.
