Allentown State Hospital newest site of M. Night Shyamalan film set

Director and producer M. Night Shyamalan began filming his latest movie at the former Allentown (Pa.) State Hospital Monday, according to WPVI.

The psychiatric hospital operated from 1912-2010 and, in 1998, become one of the first hospitals in the nation to ban seclusion practices.

The film, “Glass,” is the final chapter in a superhero trilogy starring Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson and James McAvoy.
