Last year, the two hospitals, which are part of for-profit Nashville, Tenn.-based Hospital Corporation of America, received a provisional status. Since then, they have had to provide documentation and comply with surveys from the state health department, according to the report.
Central Florida Regional Hospital and Osceola Regional Medical Center have treated more than 2,000 critical patients combined since last May.
ORMC remains the region’s only Level I trauma center for adults and children, according to the report.
