Virtua, which operates three hospitals in southern New Jersey, acquired the farm over a year ago.
The proposed campus would include a nine-story hospital that would replace Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly, N.J. Nine other buildings, including surgical centers and an assisted living complex, would also be constructed as part of the project.
If approved by the board, Virtua hopes to begin its two-part construction process in 2019 and complete the hospital as soon as 2022.
