Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based AdventHealth has made several leadership appointments within its Central Florida division.
A health system spokesperson shared the following moves with Becker’s:
- Kent Johnson was named CFO of the Central Florida division. He previously served as the associate CFO for the division.
- Ryan Gerds was appointed vice president of strategy and growth for the Northwest market. He most recently served as assistant vice president of business development and growth strategy at AdventHealth Ocala (Fla.).
- Patty Jo Toor, MSN, was named vice president and chief nursing officer for care innovations. She was previously chief nursing officer at AdventHealth Celebration in Kissimmee, Fla.
- Melissa Leonard, RN, was appointed chief nursing officer of AdventHealth Celebration. She most recently held the same role at AdventHealth Apopka (Fla.)
The system also recently announced four leadership appointments at AdventHealth Minneola (Fla.), which is slated to open in December.
