Torrance Memorial Physician Network, part of Torrance (Calif.) Memorial, is saving time with Oracle Health’s Clinical AI Agent.
Here are four things to know from a July 24 Oracle news release:
1. Torrance Memorial Physician Network adopted the Clinical AI Agent in July 2024 to listen to patient visits and generate draft notes for the EHR.
2. The pilot started with a small number of ambulatory primary care physicians, who install the app on their smartphones, before expanding to other specialties.
3. The Clinical AI agent has helped reduce documentation time for Torrance Memorial physicians by an average of 23%, or nearly 7 minutes per patient encounter.
4. Physicians have also reported improved documentation quality, more meaningful patient interactions and satisfaction with the tool’s Spanish-language note generation feature.
