Former Cleveland Clinic CIO Ed Marx joins CareMESH board

CareMESH, a patient data exchange platform, welcomed Ed Marx, former CIO at Cleveland Clinic, to its board of advisors, according to a Jan. 8 news release.

Mr. Marx served as CIO at Cleveland Clinic from September 2017 through October 2019, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic, Mr. Marx was senior vice president and CIO at Texas Health Resources, where he also spent more than two years as executive vice president of the organization’s advisory board. 

As a member of CareMESH’s advisory board, Mr. Marx will collaborate with the company’s executive team to help lead its overall strategy and innovation initiatives. CareMESH provides cloud-based services that allow hospitals and clinicians to securely exchange patient data from any EHR with other U.S. healthcare providers.
