MetroHealth System names chief of public safety: 3 things to know

Cleveland-based MetroHealth System selected Frank Bova to serve as director and chief of public safety, effective Oct. 2.

Here are three things to know:

1. Currently, Mr. Bova is Cuyahoga County’s chief community safety and protection officer.

2. His previous roles include Cuyahoga County sheriff as well as the Ohio-based City of Warrensville Heights’s chief of police.

3. In his new role at MetroHealth, Mr. Bova will oversee all safety and security initiatives as well as lead the protective services department.
