Toppenish Community Hospital hires Eric Jensen as CEO: 4 things to know

Toppenish (Wash.) Community Hospital’s new CEO is Eric Jensen, according to a Yakima Herald report.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. Jensen, who assumed the role Sept. 1, previously served as CEO of Evergreen-Health Monroe (Wash.).

2. He also served as CEO of Kittitas Valley Healthcare in Ellensburg, Wash.

3. He is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.  He completed his master of healthcare administration degree at Tulane University in New Orleans.

4. He took over Toppenish Community Hospital on the same day it formerly merged with Sunnyside, Wash.-based Regional Health. Previously, the hospital was a Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems facility.
