Children’s Hospital of Orange appoints John Henderson CIO

Children’s Hospital of Orange (Calif.) County tapped John Henderson to serve as vice president and CIO.

Mr. Henderson comes to CHOC from Houston-based Texas Children’s Hospital, where he served as an assistant vice president. At Texas Children’s, he oversaw IT operations, including business and clinical application delivery as well as business intelligence and analytics.

Mr. Henderson is a member of the College Healthcare Information Management Executives and Healthcare Information & Management Systems Society. He also serves on the advisory board of the Association for Executives Healthcare IT Applications.

Mr. Henderson holds an MBA degree from Texas A&M University in College Station.
