5 latest FDA approvals

Here are the five latest drugs or medical devices approved by the Food and Drug Administration in the past week.

1. Mvasi is a biosimilar version of Roche's cancer drug Avastin.

2. Aliqopa is intended to treat adults with relapsed follicular lymphoma who have received at least two previous therapies for the disease.

3. Mylotarg may now be used to treat adults with newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia, along with patients two years and older who have experienced a relapse or have not responded to previous treatments.

4. Doxycycline hyclate tablets, a generic version of Pfizer's Vibra-Tabs, are intended to treat various bacterial infections.

5. Reset is the first mobile app used to aid in the treatment of individuals with substance use disorders.
