9 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

The following hospital and health system CEO moves were reported by Becker's Hospital Review in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Plantation (Fla.) General Hospital CEO Robert Lee resigned, after taking on the role on June 1.

2. El Paso (Texas) Children's Hospital tapped Mark Amox to lead the hospital as CEO, effective Oct. 17.

3. George Hayes, president and CEO of UCHealth's Colorado Springs, Colo.-based Memorial Hospital Central and Memorial Hospital North, is leaving his post, effective Nov. 4.

4. Bakersfield, Calif.-based San Joaquin Community Hospital President and CEO Doug Duffield is leaving his post, effective Sept. 30.

5. Bullhead City-based Western Arizona Regional Medical Center appointed Aaron Hazzard interim CEO.

6. San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington, N.M., named Jeff A. Bourgeois president and CEO.

7. Eric Burch, CEO of Lewis County General Hospital in Lowville, N.Y., has been placed on paid administrative leave, indefinitely.

8. Lancaster (Pa.) Regional Medical Center named Brooks Turkel market CEO, effective Sept. 19.

9. New York City-based New York Methodist Hospital CEO Mark J. Mundy is retiring.
