8 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

Becker's Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CEO moves in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Hillsboro, Ore.-based Tuality Healthcare CEO Manuel Berman is retiring, effective Jan. 15, 2018.

2. Dayton (Ohio) VA Medical Center CEO Glenn Costie is retiring, effective Oct. 28.

3. Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, Fla., selected Bradley S. Talbert to serve as its new president and CEO, effective Aug. 1.

4. Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City, Kan., appointed Kerry Tirman CEO, effective July 17.

5. Burlington, Mass.-based Lahey Health tapped Rick Weiner, MD, as CEO and CMO of Winchester (Mass.) Hospital, effective Oct. 1.

6. Townshend, Vt.-based Grace Cottage Family Health and Hospital CEO Roger Allbee announced his retirement plans.

7. Waconia, Minn.-based Ridgeview Medical Center appointed Michael Phelps president and CEO.

8. Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center in Sebring appointed Randy Surber CEO.
