Curantis Solutions, a software solutions company based in Addison, Texas, brought on Mount Pleasant, Texas-based Cypress Basin Hospice as a new hospice software client.

1. Curantis specializes in serving hospice and palliative care providers. Cypress Basin Hospice is a nonprofit, community-owned organization.
2. As a Curantis client, Cypress Basin Hospice will utilize Curantis' software-as-a-service solution, according to a news release.
3. Commenting on the news, J. Read Pearson, executive director of Cypress Basin Hospice, said: "Simply put, Curantis technology is designed with hospice in mind; it is not an adaptation of home health or other provider types such as acute care providers. Why would we let the ergonomic considerations of a markedly dissimilar delivery vehicle dictate the time and motion for our operations?"
