Arnot Health is transitioning St. Joseph’s to focus more on outpatient care, psychiatric and alcohol/drug addiction treatment, long-term care and chronic care, according to the report. Some units will be closed or consolidated as part of the transition, leading to the elimination of positions.
In May, Arnot Health closed a medical/surgical unit at St. Joseph’s, which led to 22 layoffs.
