8 Healthcare Jobs Showing Growth

Some individual areas of healthcare jobs saw growth between this year’s second and third quarter, according HealtheCareers’ Q3 Healthcare Jobs Snapshot.

Total healthcare job postings on the HealtheCareers Network, a healthcare recruiting solution for providers and job-seekers, increased 4 percent from this year’s second quarter to the third quarter.

According to the snapshot, the following areas saw increases in the number of jobs posted from the second to third quarter:

1. Dietetics/nutrition: 37 percent increase
2. Healthcare IT: 23 percent
3. Pharmacy: 13 percent
4. Allied health: 6 percent
5. Nurse practitioner: 4 percent
6. Physician/surgeon: 4 percent
7. Nursing: 2 percent
8. Administration/executive: 1 percent
