Most of the growth in the sector came from the ambulatory healthcare services — including home health services, physician offices and outpatient care centers — which added 8,1000 jobs. Hospitals gained just 300 jobs last month.

According to the BLS, healthcare has added an average of 19,000 jobs per month this year, compared to an average of 27,000 last year.
