The donations to the Discoveries that Make a Difference Campaign enabled Weill Cornell to reach its goal. The medical college will use the funds to support interdisciplinary biomedical research and to accelerate the translation of the research findings into therapies for patients.

Weill Cornell will also use the funds to establish or enhance several centers and institutes, such as the Feil Family Brain and Mind Research Institute, the Helen & Robert Appel Institute for Alzheimer’s Disease Research and the Cancer Center at Weill Cornell and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.
