Virginia’s Bon Secours Maryview Renovates Cancer Center

Community and hospital leaders recently broke ground on an addition to the cancer center at Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center in Portsmouth, Va., part of Bon Secours Hampton Roads Health System, according to a health system news release.

The hospital invested $8 million to add a Varian TrueBeam linear accelerator and 16-slice wide-bore CT scanner to the Martha W. Davis Cancer Center. The renovation is expected to be completed in early 2012.
