California’s Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula Collaborates With Cancer Center

Community Hospital of the Monterey (Calif.) Peninsula and the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center have created an affiliation to enhance patient cancer care in central California, according to a UCSF news release.

The release said the new affiliation will provide expanded access to clinical trials, continuing education for physicians and others, participation in a board of medical experts who review cases and referrals to UCSF specialists.

UCSF is now currently affiliated with five cancer centers.
