Step IT Up America is designed to create technology jobs for minority women. Thus far, the program has hired 200 women. An additional 200 women are on track to be hired in August. The program’s long-term vision hopes to create technology-driven career paths for 5,000 women by 2020.
The program has launched in five cities including:

UST launches Step IT Up American in Chicago on June 19 and hopes to expand the program into cities such as:
• Houston
• Oakland, Calif.
• New York
• Washington, D.C.
The program provides women without degrees the training and technological skills needed to succeed in IT careers.
