University of Arizona Medical Center (Tucson).
University of Arizona Medical Center is the only comprehensive heart and vascular program in the Southwest for children and adults. Opened in 1971, University of Arizona Medical Center is the primary teaching hospital of the University of Arizona Colleges of Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy. The hospital is certified as a chest pain center with percutaneous coronary intervention by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care and also received heart failure accreditation from the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care.
