Chris Bergman, CPA, is a Dayton Children’s vice president and chief financial officer. He is a highly experienced CFO with more than 35 years of experience in health care. Bergman is responsible for accounting, accounts payable, payroll, revenue cycle, contracts, third-party resources, medical records, risk management and corporate compliance and supply chain. Prior to joining Dayton Children’s, he most recently held the role of chief financial officer and vice president at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, listed as one of “America’s Best Hospitals” in the 2015 U.S. News and World Report. Prior to Christ Hospital, Bergman was the chief financial officer at Sparrow Health System, the largest integrated delivery system in Lansing, Michigan, with five hospitals; and vice president of finance at Centura Health Corporation in Colorado, a $1.3 billion system with 11 hospitals and eight long-term care facilities.
