Tennessee’s University Medical Center Breaks Ground on New ASC, Expands Service Area

University Medical Center in Lebanon, Tenn., has broken ground on its new ambulatory surgery center, located on UMC’s main campus, according to a report in The Tennessean.

UMC sees the 14,000 square-foot ASC as a welcome addition to the hospital’s services, and officials said in the report that it will be a convenience for patients, according to the report.

UMC also opened a primary care location in Mt. Juliet, Tenn., which currently has one physician but will add two more by the end of the year, according to the report.
