ProMedica President and CEO Randy Oostra told The Blade the company plans to purchase and renovate the vacant Water Street Station Steam Plant, a project that could begin in 2016 and cost as much as $40 million.
The new headquarters could also include part of an adjacent KeyBank building, according to the report. Jim Hoffman, president of KeyBank’s Michigan/northwest Ohio district, told The Blade his company approves of the ProMedica plan and has excess space in its downtown building.
