The hospital becomes the fourth hospital for NorthShore University HealthSystem, considered one of the “best places to work” in the country by Becker’s Hospital Review.
As part of the merger, NorthShore University HealthSystem indicated it will invest more than $100 million into its new hospital in areas such as technology, facilities, clinical programs and a electronic medical record system, according to the Skokie Review.
