Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center CEO Mark Marchetti to retire next year

Mark Marchetti, president and CEO of Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center in Safford, Ariz., is planning to retire in January, according to an Eastern Arizona Courier report.

Mr. Marchetti has served as the hospital’s leader for six years.

“His contributions have significantly influenced healthcare in Graham County for the better,” a hospital spokesperson said in a statement obtained by the Courier.

Roland Knox, CEO of Northern Cochise Community Hospital in Willcox, Ariz., will succeed Mr. Marchetti.

Prior to becoming CEO of Northern Cochise Community Hospital in 2011, Mr. Knox was a board member, CFO and COO at Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center
