The Medical University of South Carolina’s Heart and Vascular Center is the only full-service center of its kind in the state. MUSC offers a variety of services including an adult congenital heart program, pediatric heart program, women’s heart care, arrhythmia center, valve surgery, heart transplants, interventional radiology, left ventricular assist devices and cardiac catherization, to name a few. MUSC is South Carolina’s most preferred institution for heart care, according to the National Research Corporation. The Heart and Vascular Center at MUSC sees more than 14,000 patients each year and, according to the University Hospital Consortium, boasts some of the best outcomes in the country.
