The medical center, formally known as Medical Center of Central Georgia, is a part of Navicent Health — the new brand identity of the Central Georgia Health System. The Georgia Heart Center at the medical center offers comprehensive cardiac services, including the AngioScreen, which uses non-invasive ultrasound technology to scan the arteries in the neck, giving providers a clearer picture of a patient’s vascular health.
