Medical Center, Navicent Health (Macon, Ga.)
The medical center, formally known as Medical Center of Central Georgia, is a part of Navicent Health — the new brand identity of the Central Georgia Health System. The Georgia Heart Center at the medical center offers comprehensive cardiac services, including the AngioScreen, which uses non-invasive ultrasound technology to scan the arteries in the neck, giving providers a clearer picture of a patient’s vascular health. The medical center has received Magnet designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center and was named one of the top 50 hospitals for cardiology and heart surgery by U.S. News & World Report.
