Though some hunting magazines feature sporting rifles and shotguns, assault rifles are often featured in publications such as Guns & Ammo and Recoil. In February, Kroger said it would no longer sell guns and ammunition to anyone under 21 at its Fred Meyer stores.

The policy changes come after the Feb. 14 mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, which left 17 people dead.
