Evergreen Hospital in Washington State Names Interim CEO

Evergreen Hospital Medical Center in Kirkland, Wash., has named Lowell Johnson as interim CEO, according to a report by the Puget Sound Business Journal.

Mr. Johnson, who worked at Legacy Health System in Portland, Ore., replaces Steve Brown, who resigned to become CEO and president of Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College, Pa.

During eight years as Evergreen’s CEO, Mr. Brown managed its financial turnaround and an expansion of facilities and services.
