Duke University School of Medicine to Open $596M Medicine Pavilion in July

Duke University School of Medicine in Durham, N.C., has announced that its $596 million Duke Medicine Pavilion is on track to open in July.

The 608,000-square-foot facility will feature 160 critical care beds and 18 operating rooms. It will also include a patient resource center and private patient rooms with family zones.

Medical students from the university are already moving into the pavilion, according to a WRAL-TV5 report.
