The Philadelphia hospital began a partnership with Princeton HealthCare System 18 months ago. CHOP has worked with Princeton HealthCare to develop the Plainsboro hospital’s inpatient pediatric neonatal intensive care unit. It also offers emergency consultation, inpatient pediatric care and neonatal care.
The new CHOP center will be 15,000 square feet larger than the old center and will have the ability to expand up to three times the size of the new center to respond to future expected growth, according to the report.
