California’s St. Mary’s Medical Center Breaks Ground on $22.75M Cancer Center

St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco will break ground on a $22.75 million cancer center on March 31, according to a report in the San Francisco Business Times.

St. Mary’s, which is part of Catholic Healthcare West, is building the center as part of the first phase of a $26.25 million capital improvement project, according to the report.

The 14,200 square-foot Cancer Center will employ 17 and will be located on the ground floor of a building adjacent to the main hospital, according to the report. Hospital employees have raised $253,000 toward the project.
