AHIMA partners with Pearson to expand educational offerings

The American Health Information Management Association has entered into a partnership with Pearson to use the educational publisher’s course development services, learning technology and variety of online courses to bolster AHIMA’s educational offerings.

Through the partnership, Pearson will also relaunch AHIMA’s Virtual Lab, an online work environment for health IT and health information management education that currently has 200 subscribing colleges and universities.

“AHIMA is excited to partner with Pearson and create a relationship that brings together two industry leaders in our respective fields to deliver high-value content across multiple platforms,” said Jason Malley, vice president of business and innovation at AHIMA.
