New Hampshire school district rolls out telehealth program

Manchester, N.H.-based Amoskeag Health is partnering with Beech Street and Gossler Park elementary schools to create in-school health centers, according to Sept. 15 reporting by New Hampshire Public Radio.

Students will now have the option to see an Amoskeag clinician without leaving the school. After being evaluated by a school nurse, students will be able to  speak with an Amoskeag clinician concerning their mental or physical health.

Amoskeag Health received a $1 million grant from the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services to establish the school-based telehealth program.
