The family of a woman who died of ovarian cancer is seeking another court review of a Johnson & Johnson's talcum powder case.

2. Merck attributes $135M in lost Q3 sales to NotPetya cyberattack
Merck & Co. released its third quarter earnings results Oct. 27. The company posted $10.32 billion in sales, down 2 percent from the $10.54 billion it reported during the same period last year.

4. McKesson sends letter to president's opioid commission urging 2 specific actions
McKesson sent a letter to the President Donald Trump's Commission on Combating Drug Addiction and the Opioid Crisis, recommending the administration consider two specific actions to mitigate opioid misuse.

5. FDA: EpiPen failures attributed to 7 deaths this year
EpiPen failures — specifically their inability to deploy correctly — were linked to seven patient deaths so far this year.

6. New Jersey files opioid epidemic lawsuit against Purdue Pharma
