The system renamed the campus Genesis Medical Center, Silvis to match the naming scheme of its other hospitals, which include their location in their name. For example, Genesis Medical Center, Aledo is in Aledo, Ill., and Genesis Medical Center, DeWitt is in DeWitt, Iowa.
Genesis Medical Center, Silvis includes a 150-bed hospital, an office building and senior living and rehabilitation facilities.
