Lindsey Ross, MD. White House Fellow to the U.S. Secretary of Health & Human Services (Washington, D.C.). Dr. Ross took leave from her senior neurological resident position at Los Angeles-based Cedars Sinai Medical Center to serve as a science and health policy counselor with HHS. Her experience includes assisting in the U.S. Zika response plan, addressing the opioid crisis and innovating healthcare finance. While in medical school, Dr. Ross was a national leader for the Student National Medical Association and founded the Women in Surgery Interest Group at the University of California, Los Angeles. The National Minority Quality Forum recognized Dr. Ross with the 40 Under 40 Leaders in Health Award for 2017.
