Timpanogos Regional Hospital (Orem, Utah). The 122-bed Timpanogos Regional Hospital is part of Cottonwood Heights, Utah-based MountainStar Healthcare, a division of Hospital Corporation of America. The hospital has more than 600 employees and 200 active and courtesy physicians. Since opening, the hospital has added cardiovascular services, a full-service emergency department and received the Joint Commission’s primary stroke designation. Timpanogos Regional also includes a 24-bed Level III neonatal intensive care unit. Last year, the hospital earned the 2016 Unit of Distinction Award from HCA for achieving outstanding performance with its orthopedic and spine unit.
