Memorial Health Care Systems (Seward, Neb.). This rural system’s hospital, Memorial Hospital, has been serving Seward County residents for more than 60 years. The hospital is currently undergoing a construction project to renovate its emergency department and build an outpatient services facility, among other improvements. This year, for the first time ever, iVantage Health Analytics named Memorial to its list of Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals. Additionally, the National Rural Health Association named it as a Top 20 Critical Access Hospital in 2015.
