Pittsburgh-based Allegheny Health Network’s West Penn Hospital has opened a $50 million diagnostic imaging center.

The facility features 3T MRI and PET/CT technologies as well as X-ray, ultrasound and interventional radiology services, according to a Sept. 25 news release from the health system.

The opening is part of a larger $400 million push to upgrade radiology services across the network. Allegheny General Hospital recently underwent a $100 million renovation of its imaging department.
