The Joint Commission recognizes 4 health systems as ‘expert contributors’ in eCQM transition efforts

The Joint Commission named four healthcare organizations its 2018 Pioneers in Quality Expert Contributors.

The Joint Commission recognized these hospitals for “their efforts to advance the evolution and utilization of electronic clinical quality measures.” The four organizations are:

• BJC HealthCare in St. Louis
• MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital in Leonardtown, Md.
• Texas Health Resources in Arlington
• Vail (Colo.) Health

Pioneers in Quality is a Joint Commission program that aims to help hospitals transition to eCQMs through various resources, including continuing education webinars and other educational programs as well as a resource portal.

The 2018 Pioneers in Quality Expert Contributors will present in an upcoming webinar series to share their eCQM efforts.
