HHS has launched Moms.gov, a new website designed to provide information and support for new and expectant mothers.
The platform includes resources related to pregnancy centers, federally qualified health centers, nutrition guidance, breastfeeding, mental health, adoption and preconception health, according to a May 10 HHS news release. The site also includes information on Trump Accounts and Trump Rx.
HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said the website is intended to help parents “build healthy, prosperous lives” and support healthy pregnancies and young families.
The launch comes days after the FDA issued guidance outlining recommendations for studying the safety of drugs and biologics used during pregnancy after products receive approval. The agency said the guidance aims to improve the collection of pregnancy safety data and help clinicians and patients make more informed treatment decisions.
