Its environmentally sustainable construction boasts recycled materials and conserves energy through water-efficient landscaping. When building the facility, Aspen Valley Hospital sought compliance with the city of Aspen’s Canary Initiative, which aims to have all new facilities in Aspen maintain a zero carbon footprint.
